The perfect leaf peeping spot! From the overlook at Sheep Hill, we will gaze out onto the colorful hills of the Greylock range. We will practice some Tai Chi movements this week from the classic 24 Move Form. This location is ideal for mindful movement with a large flat area of mowed grass.
Join experienced outdoor guide and certified Tai Chi instructor, Mary Hannah Parkman, to experience nature in a new way. Participants will learn the art of mindful movement through Qi Gong & Tai Chi. Mary Hannah will guide participants in slow-paced movements that encourage mindfulness and thereby deepen capacity for connection with self, the natural world and one another. Tai Chi, a Chinese martial art, was inspired by nature and designed to enliven “chi” or lifeforce energy for greater vitality. Tai Chi is known to have many health benefits.
This workshop is open to all people and no prior experience is required.
