Experience the beauty and healing properties of an Eastern Hemlock forest at The Mount, Edith Wharton's Estate and Gardens in Lenox, MA.

Join experienced outdoor guide and certified Tai Chi instructor, Mary Hannah Parkman, for a short guided trail walk with a pause to breathe in the richness of the living world with simple to follow standing Tai Chi warm ups & Qi Gong movements.

By connecting body and breath, these standing movement practices calm and reset the nervous system, help cultivate peace in the present moment and awaken and enliven our "chi" or life force energy.

Walk length approx. 0.5 mile. Mostly level or gently sloping trail.

Weather related info:
Dress for the weather in warm layers suitable for movement, hat, mittens.
