Outdoor Qi Gong

  • Canoe Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary 309 Holmes Road Pittsfield, MA, 01201 United States (map)

Experience the magic of a hemlock forest at Canoe Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary. There is a lovely stand of hemlock trees along the carriage road. We will pause here to breathe in the richness of the living world with simple to follow standing Tai Chi warm ups & Qigong movements led by Mary Hannah. By connecting body and breath, these standing movement practices calm and reset the nervous system, help cultivate peace in the present moment and awaken and enliven our "chi" or life force energy.

Walk length approx. 0.5 mile. Mostly flat trail.

Suggested donation $15 per person.
10% of donations will go to support hemlock tree conservation efforts at the New York State Hemlock Initiative
