Forest Bathing & Tai Chi

Join experienced outdoor guide and certified Tai Chi instructor, Mary Hannah Parkman, for a guided trail walk and forest bathing experience with simple to follow standing Tai Chi warmups and movements from the 8 Treasures of Tai Chi. These practices calm and reset the nervous system, bring balance to the body, and help cultivate peace in the present moment.
Tai Chi, a Chinese martial art, was inspired by nature and designed to enliven “chi” or life force energy for greater health and vitality.

  • Park by Town Hall. We will walk up the trail to Laurel Hill. There is a large flat open space under the trees where we will practice Tai Chi.

  • Walk length approximately 0.5 miles. Gently sloping trail.

  • Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes suitable for movement.

  • in the event of rain, our experience will be abbreviated to one hour.

Suggested donation $20 per person.
