Outdoor Qi Gong

  • Ice Glen 12 Ice Glen Rd Stockbridge, MA, 01262 United States (map)

Ice Glen is a gorgeous ravine with stunning moss covered boulders and towering old-growth hemlock and pine trees. Under a tall canopy of Eastern Hemlock trees, we will pause to breathe in the richness of the living world with simple to follow standing Tai Chi warm ups & Qigong movements led by Mary Hannah. By connecting body and breath, these standing movement practices calm and reset the nervous system, help cultivate peace in the present moment and awaken and enliven our "chi" or life force energy.

Walk length approx. 1 mile. Some areas of uneven and steep terrain to navigate around large rocks.

Directions:
Park at lot near 12 Ice Glen Road, Stockbridge, MA. We will walk up the driveway & on to the trail.

Suggested donation $15 per person.
10% of donations will go to support hemlock tree conservation efforts at the New York State Hemlock Initiative
