Intermediate Tai Chi – Flowing with the 24 Move Form

5 Week Series

Tuesdays (4:30-5:30pm)

Sept. 29th – Oct. 27, 2026

*Pre-requisite: Tai Chi for Beginners

In the intermediate series, students will review the 24 Move Form with an emphasis on flow. Students will practice moving smoothly in each posture and transitioning between movements with fluidity. The 24 Move form balances the 12 organ channels creating ease and unity in body and mind.

  • Here are some suggestions for what to bring/wear:

    • Comfortable clothes you can move easily in. Yoga type clothes or loose clothing is fine too because the movements are slow and done standing. 

    • Bring water bottle

  • Footwear options:

    • You may do the sequence barefoot. 

    • If you prefer protection - bring slippers

    • If you prefer more support - bring clean shoes.

Mary Hannah Parkman is a certified Tai Chi Instructor and Yoga Teacher with 12 years of experience teaching mind-body movement to all ages at local resorts, studios, schools and summer camps. 

She is drawn to Tai Chi by the nature-inspired movements and the dance between grace and strength. After practicing Tai Chi and Qi Gong for 10 years, she earned her first Tai Chi certification in 2023. When Mary Hannah teaches Tai Chi, she draws on over a decade of experience as a mind-body movement instructor, teaching yoga in studios, wellness resorts, public schools, summer camps and leading mindful outdoor experiences. She delights in sharing the peace, vitality and inspiration that comes from being in nature through her teaching and artwork.
